Legal Aid Clinic

The Sabah Law Society under the Legal Aid, YBGK and Duty Counsel Sub-Committee organises a weekly roster Legal Aid lawyer to provide free legal consultation and advice to the public. The Sabah Law Society Secretariat is open on Saturdays 9am – 12.30 pm (except first Saturday of the month). Matters open for discussion include (but is not limited to):

Members of the public who are interested are advised to contact the SLS Secretariat early to book an time slot appointment for the Legal Aid Clinic.

If a matter relates to a complaint against an advocate, the matter does not fall under the Legal Aid Clinic scope and members of the public are advised to lodge a complaint against the advocate concerned to the Disciplinary Board.
